If you fail to follow these instructions your installation will not work properly. Due to technical limitations, this is the only reliable way to load sounds on to the SD card so they can be accessed and played back properly.
It is highly recommended that you use the provided zip package if this is your first build. If you are having trouble with your installation please ensure you are using the latest package available here: github.com/Protonerd/FX-SaberOS/tree/master/soundfonts
Step 1: Prepare a folder on your computer with the files you will copy.
1. config sounds - make sure you have the current config sounds from the default zip package.
2. jukebox - Not enabled by default. if used include your jukebox files in a separate folder. Make sure your Config files are properly configured! Do not include Jukebox files if you have not configured Soundfont.h to account for the jukebox files.
3. Soundfonts - place each soundfont in it's own folder. The files MUST BE PROPERLY NUMBERED. If you are using a custom font, please refer to one of the included fonts
Step 2: Format the SD card. The best tool to format the SD card is the official SD formatting tool available at: www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
Step 3: Drag the folders over in the proper order. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE.
1. Drag the config sounds folder
2. Drag the jukebox folder (if applicable)
3. Drag the soundfont folders over in the order you want them on the card.
Step 4: Insert your SD card and light it up!
NOTE: You must reformat your SD card and follow the instructions above any time you want to change your SD card.
